Disability and Psychosocial Support Workers

Assistance for those needing additional support accessing the community or who require help with personal care. 

Advocacy

Disability Advocacy in Education and Employment

Supporting clients to advocate for the necessary adjustments and accommodations to ensure equitable access to schools, higher education institutions and the workplace. We are passionate about raising awareness of disability rights, and the promotion of inclusive environments.

Mental Health Counselling

Individual Skills Building and Mental Health Counselling

1:1 sessions either in clinic or at a comfortable location in Brisbane, Logan or Ipswich areas utilising elements of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and empassing various creative therapy tools such as arts and crafts, music and writing.

Group Therapy & Skills Building


Group therapy is available for individuals facing similar life challenges, as well as for families or couples seeking relationship counselling. Evidence-based counselling strategies are used to enhance clients’ skills, boost self-esteem, and build confidence.

LEGO® Club

LEGO® Club is an evidence based, positive, structured, child-centred social development communication program for younger clients (approximate aged 8-15 years old). 

LEGO® Serious Play® Workshops

Workshops run for 4 hours and are designed to facilitate thinking, communication and problem-solving techniques for use within organisations and teams and as a therapeutic intervention with parents, carers and clients. Each workshop is tailored to its audience so no two workshops are ever the same. 

Youth Development Programs

Positive Steps Program

An 8 week skills development program for young people aged 16-25 as they transition from school to work or from home to independence.

Looking at topics like budgeting, healthy relationships and self esteem, the program aims to develop skills needed to grow into safe, independent young adults. 

Literacy and Numeracy Tutoring

Private Literacy and Numeracy Tutoring (Years 4-10)

Providing educational interventions using the Science of Learning model. We use Direct Instruction resources to help fill the gaps in literacy and numeracy. 

Resume and Cover Letter Writing

Assistance with Resume and Cover Letter Writing

Teaching young school leavers and those looking for part time work around school how to sell their knowledge and skills to the modern employer. 

Professional Development for Education and Disability Sector


We provide tailored training for educators and disability sector professionals, with a focus on trauma-informed practices, safeguarding personal mental health, and enhancing workplace resilience. Designed to empower participants with practical strategies, it promotes understanding of trauma's impact, fosters inclusive support, and encourages sustainable self-care to optimise both professional effectiveness and personal wellbeing.

Caring for the Carer: a guide to self-care for parents of children on the autism spectrum.

Melissa's first book offers practical strategies and insights for parents raising children on the autism spectrum, focusing on the importance of self-care to foster resilience and balance in family life.


Caring for the Carer Online Program.

This interactive program provides parents and carers with tools and support to prioritise self-care through workshops and discussions tailored to their unique needs, fostering community and empowerment.


Caring for the Carer Workshop utilising the LEGO® Serious Play® Methodology 

This hands-on workshop empowers parents of children on the autism spectrum to explore self-care and personal growth through the creative and reflective LEGO® Serious Play® approach, fostering resilience and community support.


YVTAS Mindfulness Journal. 

Designed by Mel and the team, this mindfulness journal features prompts and exercises to encourage reflection and personal growth, helping users cultivate a greater sense of presence and gratitude.


Operating Hours

As a social enterprise dedicated to accessibility, we offer extended operating hours. 

Monday- Thursday: open until 9pm

Friday: open until 11pm

Weekends and Public Holidays: open until 3pm

Fees

We are currently able to offer services to private fee-paying clients and eligible NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed only. 


Aligned with our mission to provide accessible and person-centred support, we charge around 75% of the NDIS Price Guide for most services.
